STABLE Bowling

STABLE Bowling is simply an entire bowling alley built on a variation of our Marine Stabilised Platform. The alleys need to be oriented in the aft-fore direction of the ship. Our system only stabilises the rolling movements. The pitch movements are usually not significant enough to affect the game. The bowling platform is about 25m (82ft) long, width is about 3m (10ft). Each platform carries two alleys, including the approach, pin handling and bowl return mechanism.

Proven technology
The technology our Marine Stabilised Platform. It has proven its value through one of the most demanding applications in terms of responsiveness and accuracy: STABLE Billiard. Billiard tables have been installed on cruise ships and thousands of cruise passengers have had the pleasure to enjoy a steady game of pool, even in some of the most demanding weather and wind conditions.

Testimonials

Jacquelyn Hyde:

“The self-leveling billiard tables were amazing and certainly interesting to play on. I never thought that I would be able to play pool at sea, and you have to see it to truly experience it.”

Arline Bleecker:

“Arguably, the only thing that goes better with beer than pretzels is a pool table. And as something of a grace note, the Radiance of the Seas features the first billiard tables at sea – self-leveling ones, no less.”

Scott Wolfe:

“Beyond the bar was the Colony Club. Here is where the self-leveling pool tables were located. They were a conversation piece if nothing else. With no charge to play on them, the tables were consistently busy.”

“Within the Colony Club you can enjoy the Bombay Billard Club, with two self-leveling billiard tables and game tables to the Starboard Side, or televisions to the Port Side.”
